East Peckham Neighbourhood Development Plan

Key Views — have your say

Which views in and around East Peckham are special to you? Your answers will decide which views we seek to protect in the Neighbourhood Development Plan, so that development does not harm or obstruct them.

This work is about significant views that are special in some way, have value to the community, and help define the character and spirit of East Peckham.

A Task Group made up of resident volunteers, Parish Councillors and resident members of the Local Development Committee worked to identify these views. We are now seeking your thoughts and opinions on the views that you value and would like to see protected.

1

Explore the map and photos below. Each numbered marker shows where a photo was taken — and the arrow shows the direction you'd be looking.

2

Tick every view you value — and tell us why it's special: its significance, what it means to you, or your memories of it.

3

Press "Send my responses" at the bottom of the page when you're finished. It takes just a few minutes.

You can also take part in person — the same photos and comment boards are on display at the Parish Council Office.

What makes a view suitable for protection? +

The criteria used to identify these views:

Accessible from a public space — the view can be enjoyed by anyone.
A good reason for its inclusion — which may relate to its recreational value, conservation interest, scenic quality, rarity or planning history.
A specific reason for being important to the community — this is where your comments come in.

Your ticks and comments are exactly the evidence needed to show a view is important to the community.

Your postcode helps us show how close each view is to the people who enjoy it.

We do not ask for your name or contact details. Your ticks, comments and postcode are stored securely, used only as evidence for the Neighbourhood Development Plan, and reported anonymously. The consultation is open until the end of September 2026.

Thank you!

Your responses have been recorded and will form part of the evidence base for the East Peckham Neighbourhood Development Plan. Please encourage friends, family and neighbours to have their say too.
